American rapper Cardi B has announced that she is expecting a child with her boyfriend, professional football player Stefon Diggs.
The Grammy-winning artist disclosed the news during an interview with Gayle King on Wednesday.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. I’m excited,” Cardi B revealed. When asked about her feelings, she added: “I feel safe, feeling confident. It makes you feel like you can take over the world.”
The announcement comes in the middle of her ongoing divorce proceedings with her estranged husband, rapper Offset.
Cardi B had filed for divorce in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. Offset, in his February 2025 response, sought joint custody of their three children and requested that Cardi B’s home serve as their primary residence.
In a subsequent filing in May 2025, Offset also requested spousal support as part of the divorce settlement.
