Deborah Mbara claims influencer used her trust to access and falsify report
Mrs. Deborah Mbara, a cancer survivor and Creative Director of Zazi Beauty, has spoken for the first time following allegations that influencer Blessing “CEO” Okoro doctored her medical report.
Deborah narrated that Blessing gained her trust under the guise of concern for her own health. During a phone call, Blessing reportedly cried and acted fearful for her life, asking Deborah to share her medical report so she could “compare it with hers.” Thinking Blessing was genuine, Deborah sent the report—only to later discover that her medical report had been altered and posted online under Blessing’s name.
Deborah also refuted Blessing’s public claim that they had never met. She provided proof of prior interactions, including a video Blessing herself posted online, showing Deborah doing her makeup in Asaba last year.
She further revealed that after her family threatened legal action, Blessing visited them in Asaba seeking forgiveness. Deborah’s husband reportedly told Blessing she would be forgiven only if she returned to social media to publicly reveal the truth. However, Blessing deactivated her Instagram account instead.
“This is evil. This is wickedness. This is demonic,” Deborah said of Blessing’s actions.
The incident has reignited public discussion about the need for stricter accountability for influencers and the manipulation of personal information.
