The Berom Youth Moulders-Association, a Plateau socio-cultural group has rolled out a line up of activities for it’s 40th anniversary.
The line up of activities will hold on Thursday 2nd to Friday 3rd February, 2023 with a variety of events.
Davou Gyang Jatau, Chairman Media and Publicity Committee, while disclosing this stated that Thursday 2nd February, 2023 will see the Berom youths across the Nation stationed at Secretariat Junction Roundabout at 8am for a peaceful walk to the Palace of His Majesty, Da (Dr) Jacob Gyang Buba, CFR the Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs who will be receiving the Youth who shall be paying him homage.
A Football Final Competition between BYM Vyara Branch and BYM Foron District by 2pm at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium Jos, Plateau State.
The main event is scheduled for Friday 3rd February, 2023 and will feature the 40th Anniversary celebration, Awards presentation and fundraising in support of the Associations’ ongoing resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons in Berom Land.
The main event will be chaired by the Senator representing Plateau North, Senator Istifanus Dung Gyang while Prof. Yusuf Turaki who is the Guest speaker will be speaking on the topic “the Role of Socio-Cultural Organisation in shaping the politcal landscape, BYM in perspective”
The Anniversary promises to be entertaining and educative with a cross-section of berom Youths, sons and daughters expected to grace this epoch making event.
