Burna Boy states why compliments don’t mean a thing to him

Hours after he trended on Twitter for saying he is the best after
Fela Kuti and that nobody paved the way for him, Nigerian singer, Burna
Boy has stated why compliments don’t mean anything to him.

Sharing his thoughts on Twitter, the singer wrote

The same people that wish you the best to your face are the same
people that hope and pray you Fail so that they can feel better about
themselves. That’s just Life. That’s why complements mean nothing to me
cuz hate, Jealousy and “it shoul have been me” are sugar coated by them.
