After almost two hours of outage on Tuesday 25th October 2022, Meta has restored WhatsApp services.
WhatsApp had reportedly crashed a couple of times in the past and like previous times it caused panic around the world.
Some of the issues users faced are sending messages and updating their WhatsApp statuses.
Others also disclosed that they can no longer see blue ticks whenever they send private messages, with the application displaying a continuous “Connecting…” message.
Although there has been no official communication from WhatsApp regarding the reason for the outage, checks on the social media platform showed the issues have been resolved.
