A report reaching THE
SUMMARY from an Unconfirmed source has it that there is currently a riot
happening in Aba, Abia state. The source said that the riot started
when a hausa man stabbed an igbo Man during an argument. Angry youths
in the area gathered the hausa man, killed him and are currently heading
to a mosque in the area.
Another
source added that “There is a fracas around Ogbor-hill, and I believe
it has moved down to Main park. I don’t have the details, but there is
sure something going down.” He went ahead to explain that “Aba/Ph is
blocked right now. I can see heavy military presence, northerners are
running towards Ama Hausa. heavy traffic right now.”
