In light of the transmission of the ministerial names, the Senate is expected to postpone its annual recess, which was initially scheduled to begin on the same day, Thursday. The recess will now be rescheduled for next week after the confirmation hearings for the nominated candidates.
With the unveiling of the ministerial list, Nigerians can now anticipate the confirmation process, as the Senate undertakes its critical role in vetting and approving the nominees who will serve in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.
