Former Plateau state Governor and current Senator representing Plateau
Central in the upper legislative chamber, Senator Joshua Dariye on
Thursday decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All
Progressives Congress (APC).
Senator Dariye announced his decision during Thursday’s plenary.
His defection was announced on the floor of the Senate by Senate President Bukola Saraki.
Reports
had it that Dariye who gave his reasons for decamping the Opposition
party said his supporters have all abandoned the party which he claims
is in crisis.
