The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has restrained the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) from configuring the BVAS machines used during the February 25th Presidential Election.
The appeal court made this known on Wednesday following a request by INEC to vary the ex parte order made in favour of Labour Party and the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), with regard to the inspection of materials used for the presidential election.
Recall that the appeal court granted the request by the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi to inspect the election materials used during last Saturday’s presidential poll, on Friday 3rd of March.
