On Air personality with KT Fm, Morgan Tok, popularly known as Big Blunt has further called out “Jtown Artists” to appraise their performance musically and their attitude, especially when approaching OAPs or Radio stations for promos.

It is no doubt that Radio Stations need content and local artist need promotion, it is also no doubt that no radio station wants to play boring and dull music for her listener; yes I have seen People tune off stations because of the kind of music they play.
Some of this upcoming artist including some old ones become too proud even before or without making us proud, when you even approach them they begin to act like they won grammys before Burna boy.
How do you welcome an artist who sneak into your DM on whatsapp or Facebook with chats like
* _Hi, I got your number from a friend, here is my song Please play on Radio_*
No name, no introduction, no song name or song title, kaiii WTF
Another thing is most of this artist are in a hurry to record their poorly written songs simply because their gang or hood fans had hailed them and they become averse to criticism, they want this poorly written songs taken straight for air play even when the songs are laced with their regular woman moraless theme of Nyash, Bumbum etc
Producers on the other hand Contribute to making the songs poor, they monopolize the whole production process from beat making, engineering, mixing to mastering, making it difficult to have multiple ears listen Observe and work on the sound.
How many of this songs being churn out are timeless songs? Play the song today and next their time has expired.
If your songs are properly written and produced you will not need to bother much as they OAP’s will search for you.
We have good studios in Jos but I don’t know where the Problem is coming from, it is either they don’t understand how to manipulate the softwares or lack knowhow.
I must give it up to artist like Jeremiah Gyang, Moxy, Illmasta Chief, Dareng CJ, Atela, Daps, Illspike Jah Device, Bezalle and some more for put energy to their work.
We have good producers like Leonard Goyoma aka DK, Derneg CJ, Jeremiah Gyang who I know among a few that have good sound engineering and mixing sense.
