Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Venita Akpofure, has revealed that the late Arise TV anchor, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, was her cousin and childhood god-sister.
Maduagwu, 29, tragically lost her life on Monday during a robbery attack at her residence in Katampe, Abuja.
Reacting to the heartbreaking news, Venita took to social media to share her grief, recalling how she cared for Somtochukwu as a child.
“I can’t do this. I’ve been crying so badly. Sommie is my cousin/Godsister. I babysat her from childhood ❤️,” she wrote.
Friends, fans, and colleagues have since been sending condolence messages and prayers to the family over the painful loss.
