Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Thelma Lawson, has opened up about the financial pressure that comes with fame, saying life after the reality show has become “very expensive.”
Speaking in an interview with Yanga FM, Lagos, Thelma revealed that maintaining her image and meeting fans’ expectations have significantly increased her living costs.
“This new life is expensive,” she said when asked about life after the show.
Explaining further, she added, “Because you are showing up for events. I came out of the house and found out that I was named ‘the most fashionable.’ Now, I have an audience that wants to see what Thelma is wearing.
“So, it’s expensive. Also, because I have a business that requires constant restocking, it’s very, very overwhelming.”
