Two Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemates, Danboskid and Ibifubara, have been evicted from the reality show. The duo exited during Sunday’s live eviction, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
The night began with light-hearted banter, as Ebuka asked Thelma about her thoughts on fellow housemate Isabella. Thelma responded that she felt Isabella was “not her brother’s keeper,” citing events from the last Head of House game.
Big Brother commended the housemates for their wager task performance before announcing that Rooboy had been voted the week’s most influential housemate. His eviction followed shortly after a dramatic search for an envelope containing an immunity card, which left 27 housemates up for possible eviction.
Danboskid’s departure was met with a warm hug from close ally Zita and a “three gbosa” chant from the house. On stage, he described the eviction as surreal, clarified a past comment about women, called Zita “gorgeous,” and shared plans to pursue a Nollywood career while continuing their relationship outside the house.
Ibifubara, reflecting on her week, admitted to feeling lonely due to shifting friendships and revealed she was attracted to Otega and Bright Morgan but chose not to pursue it. She outlined plans to start a podcast and expand the creative direction of her hair brand.
Denari narrowly avoided eviction after placing in the bottom three on the voting chart.
The evening took a sombre turn with the announcement of the death of Ayotunde Elegbede, a member of the show’s production crew.
