The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that Odera Gregory Mbadiwe, brother of reality TV stars Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe, who was declared missing earlier this week, has been found alive.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Command’s Deputy Spokesperson, DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, the matter was reported to police on September 1 after Odera left his Victoria Island residence in his father’s Nissan 350Z Convertible and failed to return. His family later filed a missing person’s report at Victoria Island Police Division on September 3.

Oluseyi disclosed that Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, immediately ordered a discreet investigation into the case. Acting on actionable intelligence and with support from concerned members of the public, Odera was traced to the Mile 2 area of Lagos, where he was found “hale and hearty, though in a distressed state.” He has since been reunited with his family and is receiving medical care. The vehicle was also recovered in the process.

The Commissioner of Police commended the swift response of operatives and the cooperation of residents, whose information proved crucial in resolving the case. He further reassured Lagosians of the Command’s commitment to safety and security, urging the public to continue reporting similar incidents promptly for immediate action.
