The organisers of Big Brother Naija have confirmed the death of one of the show’s crew members, Ayotunde Elegbede.
The announcement was made by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during Sunday’s live eviction show. Ebuka revealed that Elegbede’s family had formally informed the organisers of his passing.
The news came shortly after the first two evictions of Season 10. Danboskid was the first housemate to be sent home, receiving a warm hug from his close ally, Zita, before fellow contestants hailed him with “three gbosa for Danboskid.”
Ibifubara became the second contestant to be evicted, while the voting chart displayed after the show revealed that Denari narrowly escaped eviction.
