The Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Manchester Global Foundation (MGF), United Kingdom, to expand cancer awareness and strengthen healthcare interventions across Nigeria.
The partnership is expected to promote cancer prevention and early detection, expand humanitarian services and improve access to healthcare for vulnerable populations.

Announcing the agreement, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos described the collaboration as a significant milestone in the foundation’s efforts to promote humanitarian service and community development.
He disclosed that the Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation had become the first organisation in Nigeria to partner with the Manchester Global Foundation.
According to Bagos, the partnership will combine the expertise and resources of both organisations to address critical health needs, support vulnerable communities and implement sustainable programmes aimed at improving lives.
The collaboration builds on the foundation’s existing health interventions in Plateau State, including free breast and cervical cancer screenings for underserved women.
The partnership follows a meeting held on May 9, 2025, at the Manchester Global Foundation’s office in London, where Bagos and his delegation discussed Nigeria’s public health challenges with representatives of the UK-based organisation.
During the meeting, MGF Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Rakhshi Memon, and consultant, Dr. Siham Sikander, highlighted the need to expand mental health services in Nigeria.
Dr. Deepali Sharma also outlined the Manchester Global Foundation’s mission and vision during the engagement.
Bagos expressed optimism that the partnership would expand humanitarian outreach, promote human dignity and deliver lasting benefits to communities across Nigeria.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen ongoing efforts to address healthcare challenges, particularly among underserved populations, through improved awareness, preventive interventions and support for people in need.
