Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has criticised President Bola Tinubu over a fuel discount proposal, accusing the president of adopting an idea he had previously put forward.
Atiku, who was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, reportedly described Tinubu as a “dull student” while reacting to the development.
The former vice-president suggested that the president’s proposal was similar to his earlier recommendation, implying that the administration had borrowed from his policy ideas.
