
Finally a platform is now set were Morality meets Education, its #Kicnigeria2015.
The competition was officially unveiled by the Arrow-head of orientation
in the state, Mr. Bulus S. Dabit, the State Director, National
Orientation Agency (NOA) and in summary, he said,
“… youths listen more
to their role models than those who are older than them and when they
communicate horizontally the influence is more felt”. He also gave and
provided a little insight to another partnership between NOA and Kommon
Sense Known as THE HALL OF SHAME and further throwing his full weight
behind the KIC NIGERIA PROJECT.



Kommon Sense Inter-College Competition also known as KIC NIGERIA, 2015
edition is a massive critical and moral empowerment project that seeks
to build and provide orientation and re-orientation for values, ethics
and morals. Using the communication tool known as Kommon Sense, the
competition provides an innovative platform for senior secondary school
students to improve their knowledge through the principles of strategic
thinking, creative communication and applied knowledge. The Theme for
this year is: BUILDING A CULTURE FOR THE FUTURE.
The Competition was officially unveiled on the 30th of September 2015 in
Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. The two prizes for the winning students
are: Dr. Stella Ameyo Adadevoh Prize for Humanity and J. D Gomwalk Prize
for Foresight in Leadership. The competition Governor is Venerable
Selcan Miner (OFR)


The competition finals is slated for 5th November 2015, at Elliel Centre
Jos. 50 schools are expected to participate in a Kommon Sense contest
that will cut across three waves. The first and the second waves will
take place from 9am to 12noon while the Grand Finale will take place by
1pm.
Registration for the competition is open until the 20th of October 2015.
You can register as a school or as an individual. Cost of registration
is N5000 only. Winning Prize gift is N50, 000 and a Desk Top Computer.
