The Ward 5 chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Enugu South Local Government Area was reportedly assaulted by some party members during a meeting following a disagreement over the sharing of money.

Narrating his experience, the chairman explained that trouble started while he was preparing to distribute money to members present at the gathering.
According to him, some individuals suddenly attacked him during the process, allegedly beating him and tearing his clothes.
A video circulating online captured the moment the APC chairman was being assaulted by the party members as people at the scene tried to intervene.
