Popular Nigerian actress Annie Macaulay has stirred concern on social media after posting a series of cryptic messages on her Instagram stories—messages that appeared shortly after videos of a public altercation between musician Tuface and Natasha surfaced online.
Earlier, Tori News reported that the confrontation occurred in London and resulted in Tuface being taken away in handcuffs. Following the release of the footage, the singer appeared on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram live session, where topics surrounding his relationship were being discussed by his former managers.
During the live session, 2Baba was seen scuffling in the background with his wife, Natasha, who appeared to be trying to restrain him and keep him in check.
As all of this unfolded online, Annie Idibia shared several posts that many interpreted as reactions to the incident.
One of her posts read:
“Sometimes, trying to prove that you are the best is an insult.”
Another was an image of burning matchsticks, with one stick pulled away to stop the others from catching fire. It carried the caption:
“The power of stepping away.”
She also posted messages reflecting on God’s plans being better than her own, as well as quotes about leaving the past behind.
In one Instagram story, Annie shared a video praising Lionel Messi for being considered a responsible man because of the respectful distance he maintains from other women, highlighting his reverence for his wife.
Annie and Tuface married in 2012, but earlier this year—after nearly 13 years together—the singer shocked fans worldwide when he announced online that he was no longer with Annie and later began openly flaunting Natasha.
