AFCON 2025: Super Eagles Coach Eric Chelle Releases Final 28-Man Squad

Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled his final 28-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), trimming down an earlier 50-man provisional list.

The most notable omission is team captain William Troost-Ekong, who recently announced his retirement from international football. However, vice-captains Wilfred Ndidi and Victor Osimhen both made the final squad.

The deadline for submission of final squad lists was December 10.
