The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has announced a special prayer session dedicated to unmarried youths, expectant mothers, and their families.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Thursday in Lagos by Pastor Oladele Balogun, Special Assistant to the General Overseer (Administration).

According to the statement, Pastor Adeboye said the prayer session, inspired by divine instruction, would focus on singles and mature singles seeking marital settlement, as well as waiting and expectant mothers believing God for the fruit of the womb.

Citing recent population surveys, Adeboye noted that singles and mature singles constitute over 40 percent of Nigeria’s adult population—a vibrant but growing segment seeking marital fulfillment.

“Waiting and expectant mothers, numbering in the millions globally, include families believing God for the fruit of the womb, a deeply spiritual and emotional journey for many,” he said.

He added that across RCCG’s global network of over 190 nations, these groups represent a significant part of the church’s fellowship community, bound together by faith, hope, and prayer.

The prayer session is scheduled to take place during the November 2025 Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 2, at The Throne of Grace, RCCG National Headquarters, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, starting at 8:00 a.m.

Adeboye urged members and participants around the world to join the service, describing it as a “life-transforming encounter with God,” while encouraging those close to Lagos to attend in person.
