PHOMAMO CONTEST
is a rivalry competition primarily created to encourage creative arts
of photography, makeup and modeling, hence the name of the competition
“PhoMaMo”. It is the first of its kind and sorts to be highly
qualitative and distinguished.
A
team, comprising of a photographer, a makeup artist and a model will be
created to enter the contest. Each team will present a team name they
will be addressed as through out the contest.
One team
will take home N50,000. The first runner up will receive N30,000 and the
second runner up will be handed N20,000 in cash prizes at the end of
the competition.
It is easy to participate.
All you have to do is create a team and follow these ground rules…
1.
Makeup artist will sit the model down and make her up. (Note: type of
makeup design doesn’t matter, push creativity to the limit)
2.
Model must be wearing a black tank top and a Jean, with no head gear or
jewelry. (Note: poses and facial expressions are completely model’s
creativity)
3. Photographer snaps just three photos of the model;
close face shot, half body portrait and a full picture. (Note: angles
and positions are the total creativity of the photographer)
Pictures must be sent to phomamo@madeinjos.com to enlist entry.
It
is of note that each team will pay an unrefundable sum of N5,000($10)
only, to finalize entry. This money will be used to publicize entries
and sponsor paid ads on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram during the
period of the contest. This input will automatically strike out the
advantage of entrants having more followers than others, so the $10
publicity will give each team the same chance to win the contest.
How to WIN is pretty simple as to how to enter the contest.
1.
After entries are all submitted, the contest will begin by uploading
team pictures unto the Made In Jos Facebook page and on Instagram
platform.
2. The pictures will be publicized to gather ratings in the form of likes.
3.
The teams with the highest ratings will move to the next stage. (there
will be three basic stages to the contest and each will be entered by
merits from the previous stage)
4. At the final stage, three winners will be given the prizes at the end of the contest.
