51-Year-Old Teacher Found Dead in Tricycle, Police Launch Investigation

Aba, Abia State — Tragedy struck on Tuesday, July 29, as Mrs. Emmanuel Love Onuora, a 51-year-old teacher, was found dead in a commercial tricycle she boarded in Aba.

The deceased, a well-known teacher in a private school in the city, had boarded the tricycle operated by one Mr. Okechukwu Sunday, a resident of Aba and native of Anambra State, for what was believed to be a routine trip along Aba Road.

During the journey, another passenger joined the ride and soon noticed that Mrs. Onuora appeared unresponsive. Several attempts to rouse her failed.

Alarmed by the situation, the tricycle operator immediately reported the incident to the Area Commander’s office in Aba. Police officers promptly took Mrs. Onuora to St. Francis Hospital, where she was confirmed dead on arrival.

Her body has since been deposited in the mortuary, and police authorities have commenced a full investigation to determine the cause of death and any possible foul play.

Residents and colleagues of the deceased have expressed shock and sorrow over the sudden demise of the beloved educator.
