34 sex workers arrested in Jigawa

34 suspected commercial sex workers have been arrested by the Jigawa State Sharia Enforcement Command (Hisbah).

The sex workers were arrested after some Sharia Police officials
conducted a raid at popular Gada joint in Kazaure Local Government Area
by 5:00 AM on Tuesday February 11.

Hisbah Commander in the state, Malam Ibrahim Dahiru confirmed the
raid and also disclosed that three men were arrested during the raid in
which 147 bottles of assorted beer and one sack of empty beer bottles
were seized.
