A dramatic confrontation erupted on Monday evening when Afrobeats icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his new wife, lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, engaged in a heated exchange during an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze.

The singer had joined the live broadcast moments before the dispute broke out. In the background, 2Baba’s tense voice was heard saying, “Shut the f** up, you need to shut the f*** up.”*

Osawaru, also off-camera, responded sharply: “Innocent, bring that phone, let him see us together.” She then asked, “Is that Daddy Freeze’s?” before demanding that the phone be turned toward them.

A brief struggle over the device ensued, with 2Baba heard warning in frustration, “See what you are doing,” shortly before his audio feed abruptly went silent. Viewers were left puzzled as the tension played out in real time.

Host Daddy Freeze, sensing the escalation, stepped in to urge calm: “Guys, calm down. Let’s hope there will be stability so that we will know what is going on.” Moments later, he ended the Facebook Live session.

The online clash happened just hours after a separate viral video surfaced showing 2Baba being restrained by officers at a shopping mall in the United Kingdom. In that clip, Osawaru was heard shouting at the singer shortly before his brief detention at the scene.

Daddy Freeze reportedly initiated the Instagram Live to clarify the earlier mall incident, but the attempt at explanation quickly spiralled into further drama as the couple’s disagreement unfolded live.
