The CEO Kefiano Autos Nig Ltd Abuja, young philanthropist and business mugul Chief Kefas Wungak Ropshik has officially joined in the contest of who becomes the chief executive in Plateau State come 2023.

Chief Kefas Wungak Ropshik, popularly known as Kefiano, made his declaration official when he presented himself at the state party secretariat of peoples democratic party PDP, in Jos Plateau on Wednesday 13th April 2022.
He said joining the race to become the chief executive of the state was in response to the tumultuous and well spread (geographically and demographically) call from his beloved brothers and sisters of Plateau for his humble self to serve as the executive governor plateau state, come 2023.
While promising to deliver a new Plateau, he said “I have carefully researched the prevailing state challenges and know they are requiring urgent and committed attention to handle them with the ‘bottom-top’ global development approach. And, I have come to the conclusion that, at this particular moment in the history of our beloved Plateau and nation, it will be a dangerous disservice to the state and the people, to allow themselves to be lured into giving their votes to some candidates who may not really have the requisite capacity to impact on the people again.”
“Nature will not forgive us for not taking a strong stand to ensure that the downturn of the economy, education and social development status in spite of vast endowment naturally and in human resource is stopped by the coming administration. And this job cannot be done by personalities whose only pedigrees can just be fitted in administration and money management. This has been the case over the years and it has not helped us. This can be one of the biggest mistakes that has resulted in putting Plateau as a highly dependent state on the federation account or nothing.”
“I grieve for the prevailing moment of wide unemployment, lack of employability amongst our graduates, massive poverty and pains within families, mass security challenges, wide young person’s vulnerability to avoidable crime and vices due to idleness, total neglect for the innovative and creative young Plateau persons in entertainment, digital technology, health sector, etc. a widespread hopelessness amongst the people in the grass root and urban areas. Just to mention a few.” He said
“I hereby offer myself team lead, to jump start the rebuilding of a new Plateau with capacity to develop her industrial based to provide jobs, export finished products from available natural resource base, as state income, build the up vast streams of income in entertainment, tourism and hospitality. Provide quality education, such that is compatible with global standards and relevance in globally viable skills.”

Talking about his vision for the emerging of a new Plateau, he stated that his sights was was on the creation of mass jobs and wealth for the youth, massive industrialization of the state, export for external income for the state, quality education for viability and relevance in the 4th industrial era, peace and security amongst people of divide and hurt within the security issues prevalent on the Plateau, good salary for the productive and hardworking civil servants, massive international investments in our local communities, beautification and sanitation of the rural and urban areas of the state, the creative industry will become global standards by harnessing the creators of music, theatre, comedy and the entire entertainment industry on the Plateau. Especially with a deliberate effort to promote and sustain various cultural endowments across the state through competition that will be supervised by local and international experts and institution.
Kefas Wungak futher stated that if given the mandate, he will work with the civil society, women groups, corporate organisations, professional bodies, digital development platforms, Agro allied groups, commerce and trade organisations, international development and donor organisations and the united nations bodies, etc to ensure we build the Plateau of our dream.
