The tenure of the out-going Vice-chancellor is
alleged to have bred lots of dissatisfaction over many issues allegely
bordering on autocracy by the Vice-chancellor, sloppiness and
incompetence.
For
example, a staff of the University( names witheld) frowned at the
allegation that the present VC carried out the entire admission of
students into the University alone – an exercise many say was full of
blunders.
“These
avoidable blunders and many more that resulted in strikes,” the staff
informed, “are problems of leadership. It is hoped that the failed
process which led to the emergence of the present system would be
discarded in favour of a better result oriented one”, he said.
