Nigerian skitmaker Aloma Isaac Junior, popularly known as Zicsaloma, has admitted that purchasing a luxury Range Rover Sport was his biggest financial misstep.
Speaking in an interview with Pulse, the content creator revealed that he bought the vehicle for over ₦30 million, hoping to enjoy the prestige of owning a high-end car in Nigeria. However, the excitement was short-lived as mechanical issues soon emerged.
Zicsaloma said he spent roughly ₦10 million on repairs within just three to four months, yet the problems persisted, making the situation unbearable. Left with no choice, he sold the car for far less than he had paid.
He disclosed that he eventually sold the Range Rover for ₦11 million, a significant loss considering the repair expenses.
Reflecting on the experience, Zicsaloma said, “I think it’s buying a Range Rover Sport. That was one of my worst financial mistakes. When I bought that car, I bought it for over 30 million. I sold it 11 million in 3 or 4 months’ time. And I spent about 10 million naira fixing the car in those three months. So it’s just like I threw 30 million and got back 1 million, with a lot of stress.”
