Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has issued a stern warning to the United States Army and President Donald Trump following threats of possible U.S. military action against Nigeria over alleged persecution of Christians.
Speaking during a TikTok live session with a Nigerian-born U.S. soldier, the Zazuu Zeh crooner cautioned the U.S. against underestimating Nigeria, saying any attempt to invade the country would have dire consequences.
Portable said, “If U.S. soldiers invade Nigeria, they won’t return home. Those Boko Haram members you hear about? They are fathers, brothers, and husbands. Many joined due to hunger.”
He reiterated his warning, emphasizing that Nigeria’s complex internal dynamics and the resilience of its people make the country far from an easy target.
His remarks come amid growing global tension following recent U.S. statements warning of sanctions or military intervention if Nigeria fails to address rising religious violence and human rights concerns.
