Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has gifted newly crowned Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars, the sum of N10 million in recognition of their remarkable title triumph.
The breakdown of the gift include N5 million for the players and N5 million for the technical crew.
Osimhen expressed his admiration for the team’s tenacity, which impressed him greatly. This gesture showcases his support for Nigerian football and his pride in Remo Stars’ achievement.
Remo Stars made history by becoming the first team from the Southwest region to win the NPFL in 25 years, breaking a drought that had lasted since Julius Berger won the title in 2000.
