Nigerian fashion designer, Veekee James, has revealed that she intentionally reads hateful comments from online critics, particularly those attacking her marriage to Femi Atere.
Despite facing intense backlash, James remains unfazed, choosing to handle negativity with a spiritual approach.
In a recent interview, she stated that she views online trolls as individuals battling spiritual issues and includes them in her prayers.
James also revealed that she intentionally reads comments online to identify two-faced individuals who pretend to be friendly in person but criticise her online.
This approach, James said, allows her to block negative influences and maintain her mental well-being.
“I intentionally read comments so that I would know the ones to block, because some of them are pretenders, you will see them outside they will come and hug you.But on social media, they are tearing you down”, she added.
