Nigerian celebrity fashion designer, Veekee James, has officially announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Femi Atere.
The fashion entrepreneur confirmed the news on Wednesday via her Instagram page, where she shared a calm and intimate video of herself and her husband, proudly revealing her baby bump.
Announcing the pregnancy, Veekee James wrote, “And two shall become three… Indeed, this is what only God can do.”
The video, which marked the first official confirmation of the pregnancy, quickly drew attention on social media, with fans, celebrities, and colleagues flooding her comment section with congratulatory messages, prayers, and goodwill.

Veekee James announced her engagement to Femi Atere in October 2023. The couple tied the knot traditionally in Akwa Ibom State in February 2024 and later held a vintage-themed white wedding ceremony in Lagos.
