The incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. opposite Current Foam, along the Ife/Ibadan Expressway in Ibadan.

The fire incident was the result of a trailer tanker loaded with 45,000 litres of PMS, which lost control while in motion, swerved off the road, fell into a nearby ditch, and caught fire.
