United States President, Donald Trump, has hinted at a possible reduction in military operations against Iran as the ongoing US–Israel conflict enters its 21st day.
Trump made the disclosure in a statement posted on his Truth Social account on Friday night, suggesting that Washington is nearing the achievement of its strategic objectives in the Middle East.
He stated that the joint campaign with Israel has significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities, including its missile systems, while also targeting key leadership figures.
The US president reaffirmed America’s commitment to defending its regional allies, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
He also highlighted the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, noting that it must be secured, though he suggested that regional nations should take primary responsibility for its policing.
Meanwhile, tensions remain high as Esmail Qaani, commander of Iran’s Quds Force, warned of further attacks targeting the US, Israel, and their allies.
In a separate development, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei claimed victory over US and Israeli forces, stating that Iran had delivered a significant blow to its adversaries.
However, Trump maintained that Iran’s leadership structure has been effectively dismantled, asserting that its leaders are “all gone.”
