Actor and producer Adeoluwa Okusaga, popularly known as Saga, has announced a heartfelt initiative to support 10 motherless individuals with a cash gift of N100,000 each, in honour of his late mother who passed away 11 years ago.
Saga made the announcement via his Instagram page, where he shared an emotional tribute to his mother, expressing how deeply her absence is still felt.
“She taught me never to give up,” he wrote, attributing his resilience and creative journey in the entertainment industry to the values she instilled in him.
Sharing a video from a previous year to mark her remembrance, Saga opened up about the challenges he’s faced since her passing. “Life’s been tough, cold, mean… I struggle with a lot of things… but I have never given up, just like you taught me,” he added.
Paying tribute to her memory, Saga revealed that the N1 million gesture is his way of giving back to those who, like him, have lost their mothers.
“In honour of you, I would like to give a helping hand to 10 motherless children like me. N100,000 can be yours within 48 hours. All you have to do is enter my DM, tell me about your mum, why you need the money and attach your account details,” he wrote.
Saga urged his followers to tag anyone who might benefit, noting the tough economic realities. “This economy is hard enough as it stands. Always and forever, Mum,” he concluded.
