Supporters of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara took to the streets of Port Harcourt on Wednesday night, singing political songs and sending a message to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
A viral video from the event shows the crowd chanting in pidgin English:
“Wike oh, Na Minister you be oh, Na Fubara be governor. Wike you no be God.”
The demonstrators urged Wike to concentrate on his ministerial responsibilities, emphasizing that Fubara remains the duly elected Governor of Rivers State.
The rally comes amid renewed tensions between Wike and Governor Fubara, with both figures involved in ongoing political disputes in the state.
