Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has presented herself for a drug test, nearly three months after allegations of substance abuse were made against her by her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress shared a video from a hospital on her Instagram page, where she stated, “Hi guys, so I’m here at the hospital. I’m about to run my drug test.”
The development follows a series of public accusations exchanged between the couple. In October 2025, Regina Daniels had accused Senator Nwoko of domestic violence and abuse, allegations he strongly denied. In response, the senator accused the actress of substance abuse, claiming to be in possession of her medical records.
The controversy further escalated during the couple’s highly publicised marital crisis when Regina’s co-wife, Laila Charani, alleged that the actress had introduced her to drugs.
Amid the growing speculation, an alleged medical report purportedly from Serenity Royale Hospital surfaced online, claiming that toxic levels of various substances were found in Regina Daniels’ system.
However, Serenity Royale Hospital has denied any involvement in the release of the document. In a statement, the hospital said, “We wish to state clearly that the publication containing classified information of Mrs Nwoko Regina did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard same.”
Regina Daniels has not yet released the official outcome of the drug test as of the time of this report.
