Professor Elias Nankap Lamle, the first Nigerian Professor of the Anthropology of Conflict Management and Peace Studies, has extended warm birthday greetings to Distinguished Senator Napoleon Bali, praising his contributions to national development and security reforms.

In a goodwill message, Prof. Lamle described Senator Bali as a man whose life reflects discipline, courage, and unwavering dedication to Nigeria. He noted that the former Air Force officer’s transition into politics did not diminish his commitment to service but broadened it.

He highlighted Senator Bali’s early and vocal advocacy for the expansion of Nigeria’s armed forces—now a key national security priority—commending his foresight in addressing the country’s persistent insecurity and conflicts.

“For Plateau State, especially Plateau South Senatorial District, Senator Bali’s representation remains a benchmark of quality leadership,” Lamle said. “He carried the voice of his people with dignity and strategic insight, ensuring their concerns were addressed at the national level.”

Professor Lamle also acknowledged Senator Bali’s association with respected leaders such as former Governor Jonah Jang, Governor Caleb Mutfwang, and Senator Simon Mwadkwon, noting that his alignment with accomplished figures underscores his own legacy of purposeful leadership.

As Senator Bali marks another year, Prof. Lamle celebrated not only his age but his values, service, and enduring impact. He prayed for long life, renewed strength, and more opportunities for the senator to continue contributing to Nigeria and Plateau State.

“May your years be long, your vision sharper, and your legacy ever brighter,” he wrote.

The message was signed by Professor Elias Nankap Lamle, Lead Consultant of the Institute for Integrated Security and Development (IISD) on mainstreaming peacebuilding in climate change initiatives in Nigeria and Coordinator at the Centre for Conflict Management and Peace Studies, University of Jos.
