Influencer Priscilla Ojo has shared an adorable update about the growing bond between the late singer Mohbad’s son, Liam, and her newborn baby, Rakeem.
Taking to Snapchat, Priscilla revealed that Liam was initially jealous of the newborn, but has now become fond of him.
“He was jealous at first, but they’re bonding really well now,” she wrote alongside a video showing the two children cuddling and playing — a clip that melted fans’ hearts across social media.
Following Mohbad’s tragic death, actress Iyabo Ojo and her family — who have shown strong support for the late singer’s widow, Omowunmi Cynthia, and their son — welcomed them into their home.
Since then, Liam has been part of several family occasions. He served as ring bearer and little groom during Priscilla’s wedding earlier this year, and attended her bridal shower with his mother, though a viral clip showed him appearing adorably confused about the event.
When Liam turned one in 2024, Iyabo Ojo celebrated him with a touching post, calling him “a superstar” and offering heartfelt prayers for his future.
Iyabo later announced her withdrawal from pursuing Mohbad’s case, expressing sadness that the singer had not yet received justice or a proper burial but maintaining faith that the truth would eventually prevail.
Mohbad, formerly signed to Naira Marley’s Marlian Music, died on September 12, 2023, at age 27, under unclear circumstances, leaving behind his wife and young son, Liam.
