Controversial Nigerian socialite, Pretty Mike attended the funeral ceremony of the mother of the music executive, Don Jazzy with a surprise for other guests at the Monarch Event Centre in Lagos.
The funeral ceremony took place in Lagos State on Friday 8 October 2022. Making an attempt to steal the spotlight, Pretty Mike who has a reputation for employing bizarre gimmicks, attended the funeral ceremony with eight women all clad in long ‘penis pants’.
The socialite was among the numerous celebrities who showed up at the funeral ceremony. Making his presence known, Mike stated that he turned up for the funeral ceremony in “grand style”.
He wrote on his Instagram page;
“Out here doing what I do best, Putting smiles and confusion In people’s minds, believe what u want, But we just Laid Mummy to final Rest in Grand style”
Pretty Mike has however explained why he attended Don Jazzy’s mother’s funeral in a feminine outfit while flanked by women wearing penis pants, following the various reactions of Nigerians bashing him as being disrespectful.
According to him, he did it because the world is changing, and “you shouldn’t be favored because of what’s in between your legs”.
He added: “Everyone should be given an equal opportunity because we all are capable in different fields regardless of gender.”
Reacting to his post some Nigerians took to social media to express their disappointment over Pretty Mike and his latest gimmick.

I know that Don Jazzy is a very jovial man but his mother deserves some respect and her funeral should be that of respect and not mockery. This guy na complete mugu. And if nobody engages him, one day he would appear with n@ked people at someone’s important event and that would be the end.”
