Former Big Brother Naija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, was reportedly involved in a heated altercation at a hotel in Abuja over an alleged ₦200,000 disagreement.
Eyewitnesses said the confrontation began in the early hours of Tuesday inside Phyna’s hotel room before escalating into the lobby, drawing the attention of guests and staff.
According to sources, the dispute arose from an unsettled financial issue involving ₦200,000, which quickly turned into a shouting match. The situation reportedly worsened when neither side was willing to compromise, leading to a brief physical scuffle within the premises.
The tension further escalated when other individuals connected to the parties joined the fray, prompting hotel security and police officers to intervene. Law enforcement personnel allegedly used teargas to disperse the crowd and restore calm.
The incident comes just weeks after Phyna returned to the public spotlight following a brief break to mourn her sister, who tragically died in an accident involving a Dangote truck.
