Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has set a new club record as the fastest player to score 50 goals for Galatasaray, following his strike in the club’s 3–1 victory over Fatih Karagümrük on Saturday night.
Osimhen netted Galatasaray’s third goal in the encounter, reaching the milestone in just 59 appearances for the Turkish Super Lig champions.
The previous record was held by former Argentina international Mauro Icardi, who scored his 50th goal for the club in his 68th game.
The Nigerian forward will be looking to further boost his goal tally when Galatasaray face Manchester City in a UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday.
