The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Rashidi Ladoja, at his private residence in Bodija, Ibadan.
Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, is set to be installed as the 44th Olubadan on Friday, September 26, 2025, following the passing of Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, who died on July 7 at the age of 90.
The Ooni, who arrived at the Bodija residence at 2:12 p.m., was warmly received by Oba Ladoja alongside members of the Olubadan-in-Council. The visit drew hundreds of Ibadan residents, high chiefs, Baales, Mogajis, title holders, and socio-cultural groups, who celebrated the occasion with drumming, dancing, and jubilation.
