Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo celebrated his 88th birthday in a grand ceremony attended by political heavyweights, business moguls, and traditional rulers.
The exclusive event, held at The Delborough Hotel in Lagos, saw the presence of notable dignitaries, including former President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience; ex-Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
Also in attendance were former Senate President Bukola Saraki and his wife, Toyin, alongside Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The ceremony also featured the presence of esteemed traditional leaders, including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, who added a touch of tradition and grandeur to the celebration.
Business moguls, such as Razaq Akanni Okoya and economic policy expert Obiageli Katryn Ezekwesili, were also in attendance, alongside Igbo billionaires E-Money, Obi Cubana, Cubana Chief Priest, and Vintage.
The event was marked by grand entrances from the esteemed guests, which were eagerly captured and shared on social media.
Atiku Abubakar and Bukola Saraki took to social media to acknowledge the event, with Saraki describing it as a prelude to Obasanjo’s milestone birthday.
