The national Orientation Agency, Plateau State on the occasion of a town hall meeting, on the IMPERATIVES OF PEACEFUL ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA organized by NOA, partnering with PRTV held today being the 6th of February, 2019 at PRTV Studio,Rayfield Jos, Plateau State.
The town hall meeting which commenced at about 1:00pm with a welcome
address for the special guest and all, following the national anthem and a word of
prayer by the GM PRTV.
The chair man of the occasion in person of prof.J I. Eliagwu gave the opening remarks and

Halilu Pai ably represented by head of voter education on the plateau Mr. Osaretin Imahiyereobo
The DG peace Building , Mr Joseph Lengmang appeared as a guest speaker also the national human rights zonal coordinator Mrs. Grace Pam a guest speaker.
The Area commander Bukuru plateau state was in attendance, representing the commissioner of police
INEC and security Agencies were all at hand to answer questions related to their roles on election day.
The purpose of the town hall meeting was narrated by the state director NOA, where the
summary of the whole meeting communicated IMPERATIVES OF PEACEFUL ELECTIONS IN NIGERIA, especially on the PLATEAU,new strategies of getting valid votes, avoiding bought votes and void votes most of all having a peaceful election in the country.
Structured discussions and contributions were communicated by various traditional rulers, religious representatives, youth and women leaders, general comments and questions were also attended.
The meeting came to a close with a vote of thanks from NOA, and a word of prayer by Mallam Rywam Imam.
