A Nigerian woman, Adesuwa Ujiadughele, has shared her joy after welcoming a set of twin girls in her 50s, describing the experience as both challenging and deeply rewarding.
Announcing the news on her Facebook page, Ujiadughele expressed gratitude to God for what she described as a rare blessing.
“The waiting is over and we thank God for the gift of bountiful twin girls. I do not take it for granted at all. Having to carry my own babies in my fifties is not a road easy to pass, but then I thank God I passed it gracefully,” she wrote.
She admitted that caring for twins at her age will not be easy, but expressed confidence in God’s support and prayed for couples still hoping to conceive.
“Taking care of one child is a handful, let alone twins. My prayers to all waiting couples is that God has got your back. Make sure you seek medical aids on time because most times we spiritualize things that are medical. Please don’t get me wrong—without Jehovah saying amen to our ventures, it can’t work. Anyways, all the glory belongs to God Almighty,” she added.
Her post has since attracted warm congratulations and admiration from friends and well-wishers on social media.
