The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Kuwait, which is also accredited to Bahrain, has issued an urgent security advisory to Nigerian nationals in both countries, citing “prevailing circumstances in the region.”
In a circular released on Sunday, the Embassy urged Nigerians to remain vigilant, follow safety directives from their host governments, and avoid panic.
“In view of the prevailing circumstances in the region, the Embassy wishes to advise all Nigerian nationals in Kuwait and Bahrain to remain alert, observe safety guidelines, and stay calm at all times,” the advisory stated.
The mission stressed the importance of staying informed through credible sources, encouraging citizens to monitor local news and official announcements from Kuwaiti and Bahraini authorities.
To improve coordination and rapid response, the Embassy has activated a dedicated mobile and WhatsApp line for Nigerians in both countries. The Embassy reassured Nigerians that it remains in close contact with community leaders in Kuwait and Bahrain to ensure coordinated support and timely assistance.
