Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her troubled marriage to her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, describing his love as “toxic.”
Responding to a comment on social media, the actress said Nwoko became overly attached to her, neglecting his other wives throughout their seven-year marriage.
Regina revealed that she often pleaded with the lawmaker to divide his time fairly among his wives, noting that they had repeatedly complained about his lack of attention.
“Yes, I think he loved me but a toxic one!” she wrote. “Tell me why a polygamous man forgot what it meant to be in polygamy… I practically had to beg that he shares days at ours and other days with his other wives because they begged for his attention.”
She emphasized that despite public assumptions, Nwoko was committed to their home, adding that he never spent a night outside their residence during their marriage.
Regina also hinted that intimacy played a role in keeping the marriage stable, saying: “As a Delta babe, I hold am well for the other room. Ladies, use your skills — that’s all men want actually.”
Her comments come amid a messy public fallout between the estranged couple, with allegations of domestic abuse and drug addiction dominating social media discussions.
