The Kuwait Ministry of Defence has reported that multiple United States military aircraft crashed in Kuwait on Monday, with all crew members surviving the incident.
The Kuwait News Agency cited a Defence Ministry statement on X confirming the crashes and noting that Kuwaiti authorities are providing assistance with rescue and response operations.
“Ministry of Defense announces that several #US military aircraft crashed earlier in the day, confirming that all crew members survived the incident,” the statement read.
The exact number of aircraft involved and the cause of the crashes have not been disclosed.
The incident follows reports that Iran struck a US military base in Kuwait in retaliation for recent joint airstrikes by the United States and Israel on Iranian targets. Other countries reportedly affected by Iranian missile attacks on US facilities in the region include Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
